Bottleneck i5 3470??

Hello, everyone!

I'd like yo ask you guys something about my CPU cuz im not sure about what to do yet!!


i got an i5 3470 with a HD 7870, but im planning on buying a r9 290x, a little hardware upgrade.

im using a b75m-d3h MoBo.

should i avoid using it with my 3470 because of any bottleneck or i will be ok with it !!?

I've seen benchmarks about it online, i've heard rumors about it and i think i will be fine, but i'd like to ask you guys first....

No bottleneck at all. The 7870 is also a great card. Check the corsairs 12 volt before buying, but I think it will handle everything just fine.

No your 3470 is plenty strong enough for any one video card. No worries

The i5 3470 won't bottleneck even in those games -_- that CPU is strong enough to even use GTX 800 and the R9 300 series for sure.

Because I have the i5 3470 16GB RAM DDR3 1600MHz and a Tri-X R9 290x and I never get bottlenecked.

So your answer is invalid.
