Hi all,

I've recently got back to building a PC to play games with friends, and made several early mistakes but now have a delema. I bought 2 working set ups. An optiplex 9020 with an i7 4770 155$, and a used, purpose built, machine with an Asus b81m-a mobo and an i3 4330 in an inwin case 90$. I've since found a new evga 500w B psu at a gsale 10$, as well as a new sapphire Rx 570 120$ amz.
Problem: I'm trying to sell the optiplex with the i3 without any luck at 90$. I think it will be easier to sell it with the i7 on board 155$ but the i3 bottlenecks the Rx 570 on CPU heavy games by about 20%. I'm not playing aaa titles just aoe2, cities skylines, and csgo.
I may get into pubg if a good sale comes around.
Question: drop the price and sell the i3 at a loss without a GPU bottlenecks (cost 300$ i7 rig), or get the money back on the i7 (cost 220$ i3 rig)? My monitor is 720p 60hz and saved money will go towards new monitor later this year.
