hello!!
Wanted to ask if the Ryzen 9 3900x is too weak for the Radeon 6950xt?

According to bottleneck calculator is isn’t but some others have said it is.

Bottleneck calculators are a big no-no. Every setup at least has some type of bottleneck in their system, even if it's so small that no one will notice. Even top tier parts paired with each other suffer some type of bottleneck

What you're running seems good enough in my opinion. Going down the road future-wise, upgrading your CPU is something I'd recommend.

Just don't trust bottleneck calculators. (True reason why)

Appreciate the answer, and yeah was thinking about upgrading to the Ryzen 7 7800x3d

That's not just a CPU upgrade but an entire platform upgrade! It will definitely let a 6950XT shine brightly.

But until you get there, I shouldn't think your 3900X is going to represent a serious bottleneck on performance. Unless, maybe if you tend to enjoy gaming at 1080p, low settings.
