Bottlenecking cpu question

in gaming there is no reason to go with weaker gpu. Cpu isnt that important in gaming and those 2 cpus have little to no difference in gaming. The build with 280x will give you way superior experience even in ultra so its nobrainer

Intel is better yes, for gaming and single-threaded (common) apps. However, the real difference between those two builds are the GPUs - the 280x is far superior to the 270x, so that would be the build I would personally go with. The FX would be good enough for gaming, and better than the intel at multi-threaded apps (video editing, rendering etc.).

It's already a good PC, the only upgrades I can think of is either
1-Crossfire 280x
2-Overclocking the 8320

My recommended upgrade cycle would be around every two generations. E.G. from a gtx 580 to a gtx 770/780
