bottlenecking, please help!

Hi, ive just upgraded my GPU from a HD 7950 to a GTX 970, i have a i5 3570k overclocked to 3.8gHz and before when using my amd card ive never had any issues with bottlenecking.

i plugged my new card in and updated the drivers... benchmarked GTAV using msi afterburner and my all 4 of CPU cores are at 95+% and it's causing my game to stutter.

i have no clue where to start?

i tried my card in my friends rig which is the exact same specs as mine (only difference was he had a different motherboard) and there was no bottlenecking or stutters.

if anyone could help just trying to find what the problem is being caused by.

surely an i5 can handle a gtx 970?!!!!

The i5 3570K should not bottleneck that gpu.
Remember to shut down other programs while gaming, even the browser as there might be other cpu intensive tasks you might have running.
Check your task manager for usage of the cpu.
