Question bottlenecking problem

guys, i have a i5 6402p pc and due to some idiotic decisions by the shopkeeper went with a gt 710 ( yes without an x). i think my pc has severe lag. I am unable to play ac4 in 1366 x 768 resolution. please help

it started off with this. it was a new upgrade build from core 2 duo and i was too young to even research abt gpus

i dont understand i thought all gpus were for gaming and processors were for rendering and gaming seperately

That person is just saying the graphics card is not a high-end graphics card which is normally what is wanted for gaming.

well i am in india and my budget is around the cost of an rx 570 or less. i dont know the exact power supply specs sorry.

Then you need to open up your computer case and find out. Typically there is a sticker on one side with the model number printed. Otherwise, there's no point in recommending a graphics card if you do not have the power supply to power it.
