Hello,
I bought this monitor BenQ GL2460HM yesterday and I just hooked it up.

Initially the whole monitor seemed a bit yellowish to me , so I adjusted the RGB values manually.

But even after that , when I browse Reddit or even anything that is white , I can easily see the top half of the monitor with normal color , but the bottom half has a weird Yellow tint.

What should I do? I currently have it connected via HDMI to my PC (GTX 650ti Boost)

Here is a photo (you can see the yellow part in the bottom) - http://i.imgur.com/HcUMw1h.jpg?1 [1]

Thanks!

It's sort of hard to tell because if you look down at screens from that angle there's a tint to portions of it, generally the bottom. What happens if you look at it from below?

If it's still there from below, you may want to try the DVI or VGA input if possible. Also try connecting a laptop to it and see if it's still there. It *could* be an actual defect that appears only with the HDMI input, or it could be a defect in the panel, in which case an RMA may be in order?

It could also be totally normal and needs some other adjustments to the RGB or Temperature.

Okay , I looked from below.
When I look from below the screen , the upper part becomes extremely blue while the bottom part is lot less bluer than the upper part (but not yellowish).

I will try using DVI also.

Thank you!

Hi,

I recently got a AOC G2460PF and I'm having the same problem with the yellow tint at the bottom. I'm using DP but have tried HDMI and even brought a new DP which made a little difference but the yellow is definitely still there. I've also tried every calibration setting I could find for this monitor but that still didn't fix anything. Just wondering if you found a fix and could help me as it's very annoying.

Thanks.

Well I did get my prob fixed, sorta.
First I did an RMA and received the same device with nothing changed, then I requested for another RMA and they took my product and while in transit they damaged it so they got me a new one.

I would say that althogh the yellow tint is pretty prominent on white screen still, but I think it's just me becoming too picky.

I just had to adapt myself to this.

I can suggest you to RMA your device .
