[SOLVED] Bought 3090 and now what else I need to upgrade?

at the moment my spec is
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 3 Intel Skylake ATX
CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K 4.0GHz
RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB
RMi Series RM1000i 1000W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply

I have recently purchased PS5.

Also my new 4k monitor Acer ConceptD CP3271KP 4K UHD 144Hz 1ms arrives on Monday and also NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition 24GB GDDR6X Ray-Tracing Graphics Card, 10496 Core, 1400MHz GPU, 1700MHz Boost 6U226 as well to enjoy 4k gaming on my PS5 and better graphics and FPS in online gaming for my PC.

But now I guess I really need to upgrade my CPU to something like Intel Core i9 9900K ? will it work on my motherboard?

Do I need to upgrade the motherboard as well?

You will need a new mobo for a 9900k. But, since you are gaming at 4k, try out your games first and see if they run to your liking, you may not need a CPU upgrade. Also there are better options for a CPU upgrade than the 9900k
