A new windows 10 computer was purchased and it seems file sharing and home groups work differently than on past versions. There is a homegroup set up between several computers. These other computers are: Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 7.

How do I go about file sharing between all of these? It seems drop box and google drive do not work on Vista any longer so that one computer seems to be the bottleneck. Thanks

As of an April 2018 update Win 10 no longer supports HomeGroups. If each just needs access to specific folders on the others then just enable sharing for those folders, which will then appear in Win Explorer> Network (or the other couple of places where shared folders can be found). You'll also need to enable File and Printer Sharing on the PCs, but it's probably already enabled on the PCs that are part of the existing HomeGroup.

So basically I can right click and hit share on the windows 10 computer and the other computer will see it? Only the folders I set to share publicly on the network though. So it won't be like it was where I can share all computer files easily.
