Just bought a NZXT Phantom 820 Big Tower and added in the components from my ''old'' rig.
I inserted and connected all the parts and tried to start it up, the motherboard lights turned on and the graphics card was also functioning.
When i try to use the power button on the case nothing happens, neither the fans or anything starts up. I went back to my old rig and put all the parts in and it worked. Any idea of what creates the issue? I've rechecked all wires several times and still the same result.

Specs : Intel i7 6700k , Asus strix 1070 gtx 8gb , Corsair CX750M , Asus Z170 pro gamer motherboard , 16gb ram

Are you sure your power switch cable is installed the correct way? The wires may be backwards compared to your other case. Only other thing I could think of is that your power switch cable is disconnected somewhere in the case but I doubt it,

I've tried with no luck, however i just noticed something when trying to turn on the power, the moment i shut off the power and back on, the small lamp above the wires to the graphics card flash red for half a second but it only happens the first time i try to start the pc , it doesn't repeat that if i press again but once i shut out the power and on again, it happens. There is a glowing small light and right next to it flashes red for a brief moment.
Edit : A loose wire, however still back to the same problem

make sure all of the connectors are in the right position/orientation on the JFP1 header of the motherboard. then make sure no pins are bent on the header where you plug the case's big power connector, and plug that in.

Just did that , it all looked fine and somehow it's still not working.

if you put everything back in the previous case after you couldn't get it to work in the new case... and it worked, you obviously know what you are doing so that most likely eliminates user error. maybe it's the case?

could very well be, i will try put it back in the other case again soon , i've heard a few people has had problems with the case and the wires for the power button etc can't be accessed .

I went back and noticed that two of the cables power sw and reset was set on the wrong way. The motherboard description didn't tell me that i had to have two of them sideways and two upwards. I was certain i did it right first but i guess i was wrong. Thanks for all the help, i highly appreciate it :)
