Hello everyone! I got a new computer from a Friend that is a HP 8200 with a I7-2600k. He had a old Geforce 550 in it and I wanted to run overwatch. it was doing fine but kind of crappy so I decided to order a Radeon Rx470 which will suit my need! The thing is that the CPU comes with a power supply that as max watt of 320W. I have read other post that people were saying checking the rail is better to know if it would work but I'm confuse on how to do that. Most website that calcul the watt usage were saying that I would use around 280 which would be fine vs 320w so finaly do you guys think it would work? Thanks for the help!

Thank you for your fast reply! May be I should swich but like you said I'm on a tight budget could I try it out to see if it works? wont it just shut down if it's not strong enough? thank you again!

So I should not be looking on those compute power calculator website right? Ok I will probably do what you told me Badactor! I'm sad tho I thoug it could work!

Power calculators are a good thing to use, but you want to use a little larger PSU than they recommend to allow for things like adding other components and the output degrading over time. A larger PSU won't have to work as hard and may last longer and run cooler and quieter. A 100 watts of headroom is generally considered ideal.
