Hello,

So i recently bought AOC G2460FQ , today i tried to set it up it works perfectly on HDMI cable but problem is i need to run it on DVI cable since i want to use the 144hz for CSGO, whenever i run it with DVI cable if I change the cable while i am in loaded windows basically screens works but then dekstop icons dissapear and right side of clock and other stuff that is there dissapear too , so whenever I restart computer it shows the bios loading screen so for example "alienware" and then i got black screen for the rest of the time , but if i unplug the cable and then i plug hdmi it works... I tried 2 cables none of them work.

Solution
Honestly it could be a faulty monitor, but I'd try to get a display port cable just in case to try, even though DVI dual link should work fine, could be a bad DVI port or wires.

Yea I bilieve it was faulty monitor because when i got display port cable i kept getting no signal and when i got it working after a lot of tries, even tho i restarted my PC they wouldn't work again , so when I got it working i recognized dead pixel and 144hz monitor was lagging in game I had 300fps decent fps so it couldn't be weak pc as I got alienware.

Personally I would not recommend anyone buying any AOC products.

Returned the monitor back to pcworld and will be buying BenQ.
