Bought New GTX 1080 from amazon. got Used R9 390 with opened box.

Hey lads.
The Experience i got after buying a new 1080 from amazon.

so i purchased a NEW msi gtx 1080 Armor while My Mom was on us for work.
After she got the box from amazon she saw the box looks kinda open. but unlucky me i didn't asked her to to take picture of the card, after she Arrived home i was extremely hyped to get my new 1080

but unfortunately i got a Used MSI R9 390 at a gtx 1080 Package.
i was pretty angry at this moment so i went to ask amazon live chat whats going on,

Good and bad news amazon would provide a full refund after a return.
but cannot provide a replacement,
which means i would have to reorder the Graphic card to my country with fees and shipping.
for more than 110$ than the actual price.

Pretty upsetting but i'm glad i would get a full refund.
does amazon even checking their returns before putting them back as "New"

What do you guys think about that?

I think Amazon is doing the right thing. They can't make good on the scams every one who sells through Amazon might try to do. Al they can do is un-do the deal and leave it to you to make any new deal you want. Perfectly fair.

Its fair and i will get my money back so that what matter after all ,i'm just wondering why they don't check the returns before reselling it as new. i bought the card from amazon. not a third party.

They probably did check it but the person doing the checking goofed. Not everyone can tell on sight the difference between one video card and another. A return-processor is likely not going to be selected for the PC/technical acumen.

Is that the actual listing you purchased it from? If so, it is indeed a 3rd party "Sold by STARLIT PARTNER".

can't really see where its the 3rd party.

STARLIT PARTNER selling it at 519$ but i bought it Directly from amazon for 509$.

Same issue a few months ago with another member , it does happen from time to time , glad your being refunded.
