Question Bought new headset and it sounds muffled, help!

Like the title says. Bought a newheadset the other day. My old one as a Sennhesier pc350 SE. Now I got a Sennheaier Gamer One. Although I noticed right away that my sound is muffled and I tried to updated drivers etc to no avail. Ive tried setting different options, different hz's. Nothing making a difference. The sound is almost like im listening through a piece of fabric. Had no such issue on my headset. Ive been able to improve it a bit but in songs etc its usually the singers voice or someone talking being muffled also the background instrumets sound weirdly muffled. But the main instruments usually sound fine. Its super weird. Never experienced anything like this before.

What are you connecting it to? The Game One is relatively hard to drive.
