EVGA Supernova G2 650W Power Supply
Windows 7 Ultimate
As the title says I bought a new PSU (EVGA one) to replace my Corsair CX 750M. I installed it plugged in all the cables but when I boot up it just takes me to an EFI Shell screen. It says "EFI Shell version 2.31 [4.655] - Current running mode 1.1.2" and "map: cannot find required map". I read forum posts elsewhere and I cannot find the solution for the life of me. I tried removing the battery from my mobo, tried plugging in the sata cable in different slots, tried disabling UEFI Hard Drive boot from BIOS but none work. Also in BIOS where he sata ports are it says "none present" so I guess the mobo isn't detecting my HDD. It was working fine before I changed the PSU so no idea what's going on.
