Question Bought watch, now music has a slight but noticeable static noise

I just bought a new Android watch, from a TicWatch E to the Galaxy Watch, and I'm still getting a noticeable static noise in music while I have the watch powered on, when it's off it doesn't do the noise. This was also happening when I had my Galaxy S8 and now with my Note9 with both watches. I've tried 3 different apps for music as well.

Not sure about the specific connectivity that you are using - Bluetooth? Wired?

Have you tried other known working (i.e., no static) earphones/earbuds?

I use Bluetooth in my car as well as on a separate speaker at work, both have the same issue.

Edit: should also mention wired audio like earbuds don't have static
