Question Bounty mission disappears in Red dead redemption 2

Well, I was roaming around in Saint denis area wanting to play the bounty hunter mission. But I accidentally tackled a pedestrian 😑and got wanted by the law. I was trying to avoid the extra gun fight and fleeing so I simply surrendered to the law. Completing the jail time and after paying all my bounties I wanted to play the bounty hunter mission. But the mission icon is no longer on the map and I went to the police station yet I don't find any bounty mission. I waited few days in game but still it doesn't show any bounty icon. What should I do to play this mission? Is it the part of the story or Is it a bug? Has anyone faced this? Please help.

My guess would be either the bounty hunting missions disappear after a certain amount of time, or it's only available at certain times of the day (i.e. check during the morning, afternoon, and at night)
