Hi, everybody.
I’m going to buy a new PC with E6600/E6400 and 8800GTS. I’m confused about the motherboard. In the same standard do the brand differences influence the performance? If does, which manufacturer is best among -ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI and INTEL?

Thanks for reading. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks in advance. 😀

The performance may differ slightly... not too much to worry about though. Areas where motherboards do vary is the features they have (such as wifi), and the amount they overclock, the memory speeds they support, etc. If you gave us a bit more info it would be easier to help, e.g. are you planning to overclock your CPU, what's your price range, etc. Also, what will you be using the PC for mainly?

Thanks for the reply. 😀
I’ve no intention to OC. I’m going to use my pc for gaming(mainly). My budget is less than $120. Thanks. 😀

Try not to be a fan boy for a particular brand. I have an Abit IC7 Max3 in my p4c system and it has been great. I recommended Abit to a buddy (the 925 duramax board) and it was a piece of $#@!. Another buddy of mine had nothing but problems with his Gigabyte board where I have never had an issue with a Gigabyte. My best advise I can give you is to take a look at all of them, find/read reviews, and make the best educated decision after looking all of the facts.
