Question Brand new 5070 is not outputting to DisplayPort, HDMI port works fine ?

So I have a brand new, barely used Gigabyte 5070 that is having difficulty outputting to DP. Now I'm not sure what version of DP cable my monitor has or supports. It runs perfectly fine on HDMI, which I'm currently using, but does not seem to want to output to DP. My monitor is an NZXT Canvas 32Q and when I run on HDMI, it works fine, but I don't get the full refresh rate of my monitor which is 165Hz. On HDMI, I'm only getting 144Hz. And also on DP, my monitor behaves really erratically and when I turn it back on after it being off for a long period of time, it does not get a signal. And I've tried to search for answers but so far have come up short. Is it a driver problem that will be fixed? Is it a GPU BIOS problem? Is it something that can easily be fixed with an new cable? Or is there something else I'm not trying? Should I return the GPU and get a Radeon 9070XT instead?

Motherboard: MSI MAG Z90i Edge Wifi
CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K
Cooler: Cooler Master Atmos 240
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB DDR5-6000
Storage: 6TB
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 5070
Monitor: NZXT Canvas 32Q

Is it a driver problem that will be fixed?
What driver version are you on for your GPU?

What BIOS version are you on?

For your display, in the OSD, can you set all settings to default?

What were you using prior to the RTX5070? Did you run DDU in Safe Mode, removing all drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) then manually installing the latest GPU driver in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

I'm planning on doing a full reformat of my primary SSD (which is a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro) and reinstall of Windows, but I won't get to that until next week. I'm hoping that solves most of the issues.

As for the BIOS, I'm currently using 7E03v1F (dated 5/7/25), which is the most current version of the BIOS that's not a beta. I tried using the beta version and it was nothing but problematic, so I reflashed the BIOS to the previous version. GPU drivers are the most current.
