Question Brand new barracuda hdd freezing in game, taking 15 mins to load windows

So I bought a new 3TB internal barracuda HDD a couple days ago. I turned my 16gb usb into a windows 10 media creation tool and installed windows on the new hdd. It ran perfectly for around a day, but then started to act strange. In game, my pc began to freeze suddenly and regularly. Audio would stop and the only way to unfreeze would be alt+tab. When I rebooted my pc on that same day, windows booted with some sort of unreadable symbol font. I simply restarted again and they were reset to default. But, now my windows takes at least 5-10 mins to get to the login screen, and when I press enter I’m never actually given the option to put my password in. Please help me I payed £90 for this and I’m starting to get desperate
