I just completed the build on my new PC. Very new to all of this. Have watched a ton of YT videos to guide me along.
Anyhow, I just booted for the first time and I got the BIOS screen. It is showing the correct CPU (i9-13900K), the correct M2 drives 2xSamsung 990 Pro), and the correct motherboard (Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master). However, for the RAM, it's showing the correct brand but not the correct size or frequency of RAM. What I installed is 96GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6400 Mhz RAM. It's showing 128 GB of Corsair 4800 Mhz RAM. Also, I can't find my graphics card on the BIOS. I have a RTX 4090 installed.
I'm pretty nervous because I don't know if the build is about to burn itself out or if I did it right. I have no idea if the fan speed info is correct. But it's giving me RPM's for various fans. It's showing CPU temp at 32. I also have one (of five) case fans not working at all, and one AIO fan (of three), one of the case fans, and the ARGB GPU stand not lighting but I figure that's probably something I missed in the wiring/cable management. I'm guessing that won't be hard to fix. I'm using two Antec ARGB controllers. I have all of the case fans, the AIO lighting, the AIO fans lighting, and the RGB stand wired through the controllers to the motherboard.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated esp about how to figure out what's going on with my RAM and why my GPU isn't showing up. Would also love to know how to confirm the AIO pump is working.
