Brand new computer will not display please help

I have a new motherboard B350 Pro Series amd ryzen 5 1400 600w zotac power supply 1060 6gb video card, so we connected everything and it powered on with no display, i tried everything taking ram out reseating video card plugging directly into motherboard no display all the lights on the motherboard were working fans everything. Than I thought maybe thermal paste got on processor so i took off the heat sync wiped off back of processor (nothing was in pins it was fine) and than tried booting it up without heat sync on for 5 seconds still nothing than put heat sync back on and now I know i messed up the power button where i plugged it into the motherboard so im just ordering a new case rather than trying to fix this issue, but I had it powered on and off for 4 hours trying everything., this has to be a bad processor right? everything else was working powering on I've built pcs for years, I just am going mad because my buddy was gonna pay me 50$ for installing new parts and 5 hours later here I am , I told him buy new case should I try anything else now? it has to be processor right? as I said now it wont turn on after re-installing heat sync cause probably pinched the power cord or something on case, but when everything was on (looked at processor last resort incase thermal paste) nothing would display. I mean I checked everything 5 times re plugged in everything had 3 hdds 1 cd drive too.

he bought viper dd4 ram says designed for intel x99 and 100 series platforms does this mean it won't work with AMD processor? if so I'm gonna kill my friend
