OK so I just bought a brand new computer and for some reason when I when to do the first boot up it only went to the bio set up and no matter what I did it keeps booting no father then the bio setup. No cables or anything is lose. Also it doesn't have a CD drive apparently. I don't know what to do to get it to work. Any ideas?

Solution

(how did I know you were going to say that...)

Did you buy it instore or online?

If you bought it instore, take it back and make them fix it.

If you can see the BIOS, it's obviously getting power.
So something inside is not connected properly.

It never booted past the bio. This is an out of the box issue never even got to use the computer. I just hooked it up and this happened first thing.

Where did you buy it from?

2 obvious options:
1. Try to diagnose
or
2. SEND IT BACK!

Fry's electronics it's an iBuyPower brand pc

I got it in store.

March right down there, plunk it on the service desk..."Dude! Fix this!"
It's brand new. You should not have to mess around inside to make it work.
