I can't seem to figure out why my PC won't boot. I just put it together, plugged it in temporarily to my kitchen outlet without the front or back panel in before bringing it to the office for long term. In the kitchen, it posted and worked fine, I downloaded Windows 10, the basics. After moving it and putting on the panels, it no longer boots. I tried bringing it back downstairs and it no longer workers there either. It isn't like I just ripped the PC out of the wall, I turned it off through windows. Please help!

recheck you might have a loose connector or component on the board also did you put on the front panel with is connector to the board you might have switch power and reset switch in board also check the polarity of those .

Scout_03, I have triple checked all wires, including the 24 pin and 8 pin connectors. I also tried using a screwdriver on the power switch pins and that hasen't worked. I have heard people say that unplugging it from the wall, waiting 10 seconds, then pressing the power button for 30 seconds solves the problem. Would that work?

Im going to sound like and idiot but there was a piece of plastic the got chipped off the top of the cable that gave it the slightest sag so one of the pins didn't connect. Nothing a rubberband can't fix.
