Brand new RM850 for £105 or Factory refurbished AX860 for £110

Which should i pick? I am only using my system for gaming.

ASUS Z97-A
Intel Core i7-4790K, H100
AMD Radeon R9 290, HG10 & H55
WDC WD10EZEX-60M2NA0
Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB
Evga 600b
8gb DDR3

Will do a crossfire upgrade in future again with HG10 and H55, also want to overclock at the moment, don't want to stress my PSU right now.

Factory refurbished AX860 for £110 is a better quality power supply.

Go with it.

Better how? And do I need it to be better or better new? What is exactly factory refurbished just reboxed or do they test it as well?

RM850 uses poor capacitors . AX860 is a higher quality OSU.

Agree, avoid the RM series especially the 750w and 850w models. They are made by Chicony Power Technology and are so bad the 750w model failed in testing from HardOCP becoming the first Corsair power supply to do so.

Also Crossfire 290s need a recommended 1000w unit.
