Brand New hard drive keeps clicking and has disk write error. Any fixes?

So I bought a hard drive about a week ago and I started downloading games when i realised every time my hard drive clicks I get a write error on steam. The hard drive is brand new so it definitely isn't dying already or can it? I used to get the same problem with my old hard drive which I had for 5 years which is understandable. Also when it gets to 100% usage it clicks because on the task manager numerous windows task take up hard drive usage. For example, "system".

Any fixes? May be motherboard related but here are my specs if it helps:

Intel® Core™ i3-2120
AMD Radeon R7 200 series GPU
Seagate Barracuda ST10000DM010-2EP102
ASrock H61M-VG4
500w PSU
ATAPI iHAS122 E (DVD/CD-ROM drive)

RMA is only fix. It really doesn't matter if new or old. any can die at any moment so backup is only "medicine".

The "R" in RMA stands for Return.
Return it for a refund or replacement.
