I have this 4tb WD black HDD I bought to store games, and as such I downloaded a bunch of games on it. After a while tho when I went to play a game I noticed the D partition was gone. Checking in windows the HDD was listed as raw. This was odd but I figured maybe it was some random glitch, I formatted the drive and redownloaded everything.

The next day it happened again, and I noticed it had happened right after a reboot, it was working fine, I rebooted, it was no longer there. I was able to recover all of the games on the HDD using iCare's software so I don't have to redownload everything, formated the drive again, and placed all the files back onto it, working perfectly.

Now it just happened again, I was playing a game, had to reboot the pc, when it booted back up there it is, once again listed as raw. What could be causing this issue? It doesn't happen every time I reboot, but it only happens when I reboot.
