brand new hp pavilion gaming lagging and so slow?

i recently bought a brand new hp pavilion gaming with windows 10 pro, intel i7 6th generation 6700hq quad core , 4gb nvidia gtx 950m, intel hd 530, 1tb , 8gb ram. the problem is after using for 2 days the laptop has become slower. from boot time to opening applications. sometimes it becomes unresponsive. any fix/recommendations/solutions?

Go to task manager -> more details -> Startup. Disable bloatware and anything else.
Look in processes and see if anything looks fishy


A surefire way is to just reformat and reinstall windows(which is basically what I only ever do) but you might not want to do that.
