Brand new laptop has battery issues

this laptop is brand new, the model is 15s-du0xxx and it just recently happened that whenever my battery is plugged in its 100% and when i unplug it it becomes 95% for some reason, how do i stop this from happening? I don't wanna buy another laptop battery just to fix this.

Get in touch with the manufacturer and see:

A. If it can really be considered a problem, and
B. If they'll send you a new battery and a box/return label to send the original one back at no cost as per the warranty, assuming you bought it new from an authorized distributor
