Hi so I have a brand new ASUS TUF A17 FA707XI, I am using an ethernet cord with it and I am getting basically same ping, same download as my desktop (while using same cord same port e.t.c) which is 2ms + 940.mbps. But my upload wont go past around 238Mbps.

I have tried everything disabling firewall e.t.c it just wont budge. I know the cable and the set up is fine as its the exact same one I use for my desktop PC which hits the full speeds.

Also strangely enough on WIFI I hit like 400-500mbps upload which means it works fine? on that .

Can anyone help me with this issue please thank you so much!

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Verify that only one network adapter, either wired or wireless as being used, is enabled. Not two network adapters at the same time.

Disable IPv6.

If the problem continues then run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt.

Copy the results and post herein.

MADNESS! You've fixed it disabling IPv6 worked on the ethernet adapter. Is this a problem or shall I just leave it unenabled?

You would be surprised by the number of these forum threads that are fixed by disabling IPv6. It is strange that your other pc and your wifi adapter for some reason are not using IPv6.
Although they have been saying IPv6 is the future of the internet for the last 20 years the various ISP have not spent as much money on IPv6 infrastructure as they have on IPv4.

Almost nobody actually needs IPv6 so you can leave it turned off. There are a very tiny number of web sites mostly in asia that do not have IPv4 addresses and only have IPv6 addresses. Even this can be solved by some special proxy servers.
