Question New build is not POSTing ?

I was attempting to start the pc and boot into bios, but the display won't load.

Troubleshooting steps I've tried

• tested if it was the monitor
• tested if it was the hdmi cord
• tested it with DisplayPort cord
• doubled checked to make sure all the cords, pins where property connected
• tested if it was the ram
• updated the motherboards bios to see if that was the issue

but still have the same issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How are you confirming that the BIOS revision took and is the correct one?

6xx series mobo is not native for 9xxx CPU without an update or a later board revision.

I downloaded the latest bios update from https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/prime b650-plus wifi/helpdesk_bios/ used the bios flashback to update it.

Well, it would seem that unless you have a way to test the CPU and motherboard independently then it becomes a guessing game. You could have a bad out of box component.

If I were going to flip a weighted coin my guess would be on the CPU being bad and the only clue there being your saying the BIOS flash feature on the motherboard worked properly to all appearances.
Do you happen to know anyone else with an AMD Ryzen 7xxx system, or have a mom and pop shop around you can work with on it?

Did you reset the CMOS? Are all of the fans spinning?

Apparently initial POSTs for Ryzen 9000 series can take fifteen to twenty minutes or more. Be patient.
