Hello everyone ! So my friend's brand new PC just arrived today , but it has a small problem.. Soo he only has an old monitor which only has VGA.. The new PCs specs are : i3 4170 , gigabyte GA H81M-S1 , ASUS GTX 950 STRIX OC 2GB.. The problem is that he forgot to get an DVI-I - VGA adapter for the PC and he tried to plug in the VGA cable into the motherboard VGA ( or DSub , i think its the same ) port and when he turned on the PC the Ubuntu logo appeared and after it loaded up a bit the screen went black and it said '' No signal detected '' .. Is it because he plugged the VGA cable in the VGA port ? Tomorrow he is going to get a DVI-I - VGA adapter, is that going to fix it ? Thank you !
