After some time on my pc decides to shit itself and it goes super slow mo (like unbearably unusable slow mo) and I have to restart it, after a reboot it works fine but then it happens again, seemingly at random. I just put this thing together like a day or two ago, installed windows 11, installed new drivers, updated bios etc.
I ran valley and cinebench to see if i can simulate the problem but both tests ran just fine without any issues.
I've XMP enabled.
Idk how else to describe it or what to do, games run just fine. It happened once in HOTS and a few minutes ago during literally nothing, i was just on discord my sound died and PC just froze like that. It's still "responding" but when i try to open a program or pull up task manager it just doesn't load.

Specs: Ryzen 7 5800X
32gb 3600mHz Corsair vengeance rgb pro
Asus rog strix rtx 4070ti oc edition
Asus rog strix b550-f gaming mobo
1tb samsung pro ssd
850w asus rog strix PSU 80+ gold

1) Try to open Task Manager and see if it indicates a particular program or process that causes the PC to lag and hang.
2) Bring up System Configuration (msconfig) and choose clean boot under the Boot tab and see if it does it then. This disables any 3rd party things that could potentially be causing a hang up. If it does, start adding them back in 1x1 until you find your source.
3) Disable XMP and see if you notice a difference.

Idk if you mean "try to open task manager" during the freeze or not because it's impossible, it pops up but it doesnt "load" i can see the window but not the programs in it.
I also ran the windowws memory diagnostic tool but it detected 0 issues.
i am using a few softwares together (lian li fan software/icue/asus armory core bullshit to sync the rgbs but idk if those are conflicting or not because i don't get the blue screen, or well i don't see it if i do, i did check the system logs but it didn't mention a crash anywhere)

Open task manager and keep it open until the issue occurs. Try a clean boot as was suggested.

Yes, that's what I mean. With an issue like this, patience is going to be your adversary or your best friend. Open task manager and just let it sit if you have to until it loads or it occurs. Or you can try the clean boot first like I mentioned.

Nothing popped up on the task manager during the freeze, everything looks normal. It just happened

I removed some crap that might be suspect and I'll try the clean boot if it happens again, i'll keep this updated

Removing Asus armoury core software seemed to fix the issue, and updating windows 11 to 23h2. Havent had a freeze since my last post so i guess it's solved?
