Hello,

I have just built my first PC, and I want to be able to run my RAM at the 3200mhz advertised by corsair. When I try to do so in BIOS (Which I have updated) by activating XMP 2 and trying to set the voltages to 1.4V on the DRAM and 1.2 SOC it crashes and resets it back to 2133mhz, I can get it to run stable at 2933mhz without an XMP profile. Is there any way to get this to run at 3200mhz? Or is it limited because of me daisy chaining the RAM?

Specs:
Motherboard - MSI B450 Mortar Max
CPU - 2700x
Ram - 4 x 8gb (Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB DDR4 C16 3200mhz)
GPU - 1660 GTX

Thank you very much, I am new to PC building so any help would be appreciated.

It's difficult to make it go over 3000(2933)MHz when both IMC channels are used, specially using XMP. You are not loosing much with that difference in frequency specially if you can run it with lower Cl latency.
You might want to try using settings generated by https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ryzen-dram-calculator/

Hello,

I have just tried the settings the calculator gave me and it wouldn't boot in 3200mhz, a bit of a pain as I thought I would be able to run 3200mhz. Is there much difference between 2933mhz and 3200?

Thanks.
