Brand new Rog 503ge really slow

Just bought this laptop and its literally slower than a 10 year old desktop pc... It takes like 20 sec to open up microsoft edge

Specs:
I7 8750H
8gb ram
1050ti
1tb hdd

The disk tab in the task manager is always at 100% so Im guessing its the Hdd's fault. Could it just be a faulty drive or is there anything I can do to fix this?

Ive tried resetting windows, that didnt help at all.

You could check the HDD.

If it is faulty though your better off returning and getting another laptop.
