I'm losing my mind here. I just finished building a Ryzen 7 1700 system. I had it halfway put together waiting on RAM for about 4 months. Now that I have the RAM I finished the build and went to start up for the first time. The chain of events then went as follows:

-System boots,
-MOBO lights kick on,
-Wraith spire leds kick on,
-RAM leds kick on,
-System promptly shuts off.

I tried reseating the CPU, GPU, and RAM. I've reconnected power cords to MOBO. I went out and bought different RAM that was on the MOBO's QVL. I don't know what else to do. I'm afraid I've got a bad Motherboard or processor. Merry Christmas to me. I'm open to any and all ideas. Please help.

System:

-Ryzen 7 1700
-Asus Prime B350 Plus
-PNY DDR4 2400
-Asus Strix R9 380
-XFX 750w PSU

Well xfx makes poor psu's and that issues really sounds like a bad psu issues to me (and you got a bad brand so even higehr chance).

I tried another PSU, and it didn't work. After that I unplugged everything from the motherboard and reconnected. Apparently I was an idiot and plugged something in wrong. Seems to be working now with the original PSU.
