Brand New Seagate barracuda 2tb not spinning/no lights not on BIOS

Built my new pc yesterday installed windows onto the SSD and then switched off and plugged in the HDD one sata cable in the PSU and one into the mobo, the hdd doesnt spin make any noise or show up in bios ive tried different cables and power cables and other sata ports on th mobo.

My pc specs are:

Mobo- b350 pc mate
Cpu- ryzen 5 1600
Gpu - gtx 1060
Hdd- seagate barracuda 2tb
Ssd- sandisk 240gb ssd 2.5
Psu- evga 650w gold
Os- windows 10 is loaded onto the ssd via usb

Do i have a dead drive?

Hello georgedyson97, sorry you are experiencing trouble with your drive. If you can also try the drive in another computer and if it is detected, run Seatools. That will give you the health status of the drive. Keep us posted.
Are you using an M.2 SSD drive with that B350 Motherboard?
if yes I suggest you try SATA 3 or 4 for your HDD , quite common for M2 port to be tied to the Sata 1 port, if HDD is in SATA 1/2 and M2 is used usually HDD is ignored.

no using a 2.5 sandisk ssd ive tried plugging the sata cable into sata 1, 2, 3 and 4 and still nothinc
