Question Brand new seagate HDD - APM chirping sound??

I just installed a brand new 2TB Seagate Baracuda HDD. I was worried by this "chirping" sound coming from the drive while it was idle. From doing a bit of research this seemed like it might be caused by the APM feature on the drive. The noise from this was driving me crazy.

Crystaldiskinfo has the ability to disable APM on a drive and when I used this to disable is the chirping stopped. Is there any reason why I shouldn't just leave this disabled?

No Reason to turn it back on but it may not "stick" with a restart.

This is a brand new drive and the "clicking" or "chirping" sound from the drive is quite disconcerting and very annoying.
