e just got 2 brand new laptops of the same model and both are SLOW both laptops have windows 8.1 installed with 4 gigs of ram and a 500 gig hard drive i have reset both laptops to defaults but they will not speed up getting to this website was slow my old lenovo laptop from 2003 was faster someone please help thanks much

Not sure what you expect from a $275 laptop, I'd return them, it's got 4GB and not upgradeable unless you send it to the factory, uses the IGPU so out of the 4GB the OS and iGPU prob eat up half or more of the DRAM. You could try cleaning out start up, it's prob filled with Toshiba bloatware apps. Be better off w/ a tablet
