Hello,
I recently aquired a 3tb WD Blue 5400RPM, was looking for 7200RPM but couldn't find one, it arrived today cloned data over from another drive as my case (Core V1) only has space to mount two drives, and i already had 1tb x 2 in there. i installed it everything is working fine, however it's making a sound i'm not use to, it happens under load. it sometimes doesn't happen it sometimes has very long intervals sometimes very short, i have limited it to the new drive as when is start up a game download to that drive it starts. Just want to check if this sound is normal for 5400rpm drives as i've only ever used 7200rpm drives or if just a normal sound i've never heard before.
Sound : https://1drv.ms/v/s!AkY44tmgQ07Hhbg_oJVKh6Qdn20C6g?e=KDpPVA
It's very quiet over the fans, might have to turn the volume up.
Thanks,
