Brand new Yoga 910 running slow

My brand new laptop is running really slowly and glitching. For example, Chrome sometimes takes a while to respond when I click on the tabs. Also, large folders, like pictures take a minute or so to load - green progress bar. I'm really worried I've bought a dud. 🙁
It's 2TB SSD with the core i7 7th gen. I splashed out on this laptop to avoid precisely this kind of problem.

If someone out there can help, I'd really appreciate it!

No, I didn't. It's part of the spec. Now the window's search box isn't working. I fixed it already but now none of the fixes work.

Deeply depressed with this new laptop. It cost a fortune. My first expensive laptop. 🙁
