I am looking at 2gb DDR2 kits for my new build- brands im looking at are Crucial Ballistix and Corsair; i have some experience with corsair, and i know its a good choice, less sure about the Crucial

links to the kits:

the crucial is cheaper; but i am willing so pay the extra 20 bucks if the corsair is a significant performance advantage

any input?

If i were you i would go with cheaper one.

Crucial's brand name is right up there w/ Corsair.
I've used their RAM a number of times without issue.

Timings are the same, so go for the lower price.

these guys are right, there is little performance difference and crucial and corsair are both top of the line brands

if you plan to overclock then go with the corsair, if not go with the cheaper ballistix
