I got all my new stuff, direct from NEWEGG--- They ROCK! :)
Ok well the cpu i got is the Mobile Barton-based Athlon 2500+. Its stepping turned out to be IQYHA

( i dont know alot about steppings, but after that it says 03552mpmw on it, hope that helps)

So whats the scoop on this stepping, how far should i try to push? Oh and how much ceramique should i use?

I don't know about that specific stepping, but I do know that all Mobiles are capable of operating at their rated speed using less voltage than Desktop processors, which means the cores are better than Desktop cores, which means that raising the voltage to Desktop levels will allow higher overclocks than with Desktop processors.

Any mobile 2500+ should be able to do 2200MHz at reasonable voltages, I'd try for 2500MHz. And regardless of paranoid things people say about paste, due to the small surface area of the die and high clip pressure, putting on too much won't make the film thicker, it means more squirts out. Knowing that, I always just dab on a thin layer and don't go to the extremes of scraping it thinner. In fact, having too thin a coat will prevent the paste from filling some irregularities between the cooler and die.

All cores differ, so experimentation is the key.

I would first do some burn-in/stability testing at 200x11, to make sure everything else is happy, and when you're happy, just experiment! What cooling will you be using? I wouldn't go over ~1.8V with air cooling myself. (unless it's really special aircooling)

Don't forget to ensure you've got good airflow through your case - all that hot air has to go somewhere

Ok thanks for the ceramique advice, I think I applied that succesfully.

I am using an ALX 800 heatsink with a 40 cfm 80mm thermaltake fan. It cools about 12C cooler than stoc HSF.

Yeah I am without all 3 case fans i plan on getting, but i have a question for the future. I have spots for 3, 1 right next to the cpu ,ofcourse, but two more right under the floppy drive bays. The two are right around the power switch. The weird thing is, is that behind these two, there are no openings out of the case. So would these two 80mm fans just function to push air around? I think i might just cut a hole for intake. And am i correct in thining that the case fan next to the CPU socket is for exhaust?

normally there are enough gaps in the front of the case to get enough airflow for the intake fans. There's no harm in adding extra ventilation holes if you like of course

The Fan at the back is usually the exhaust, yes.
