Hey guys, I really need some answers here.

I recently bought an EVGA GTX 650 ti boost 2GB from Newegg.com and now it appears that they are out of stock, just as they are on Amazon as well

I was hoping to SLI two of these GPU's, but with out the other card, that's quite impossible now isn't it?

okay, so pretty much what I'm asking is, "Can I SLI the same exact GPU but mix brands at the same time?"

Because it seems even EVGA is out of them.

Any sort of feedback would be great guys, thank you in advance.

It won't work, according the Nvidia: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/469402/sli/faq-quot-will-these-two-cards-work-in-sli-quot-sli-what-works-with-what-/

- All GPUs must have the same amount of VRAM and an identical Bus Width
-- You cannot use a "256MB" version with a "512MB" version or "1GB" version with a "2GB" version in SLI or a 1GB 192 bit bus with a 1GB 256 bit bus Etc.
Note: It used to be possible to enable SLI on cards with differing VRAM (EG 8800GTS 640 and 320) via the "coolbits" mod. However, this mod will not work with newer cards or newer drivers.

Okay, awsome. Thats exactly the answer I was hoping for.

What if one card is running 1GB SDRAM and the other is running 2 GB SDRAM?
