Alright, Im gonna buy a gfx card tomorrow and I was just wondering if theres any difference between the brands ? lower quality maybe?? cuz I found PowerColor Radeon 9800 Pro and its the cheapest .. its 400$.. so should I buy that one, or should I buy it with another brand.. like Sapphire or Hercules..

I don't have a lot of experince with ATI, but from reading reviews, the general rule of thumb is that you can't go wrong with a true Built by ATI card.

-Sapphire card users are the most frequent in complaining about their cards, at least as I've seen

-Powercolor and Gigacube are cheap brands that offer very limited support

-ATI, FIC, and Gigabyte are the best brands, very good quality.

I bet you'll be fine w/ any brand b/c they don't differ a lot, but I'd suggest spending the extra bucks, you might regret getting a crappy brand.

First of all, if you have sufficient budget to satisfy this purchase, go for MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, or even Leadtek's graphics card. I, as a Taiwanese, never think about the brands, excluding those as stated above, becasue those "Big Name" firms can support you with high efficiency after-sale service, and execute thoroughly your warranty with very affable attitude.

CPU Pentium VI 2.66GHz
Mainboard MSI 865PE Neo2 - LS
Video Card Leadtek A280 Le TD DDR 256MB
