New builder here, bought the Rosewill LINE GLOW ATX Mid Tower for my case and the ASUS]http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131872]ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS[/url] for my motherboard. The problem I'm running into is that the top two standoff's are not brass (at least it appears) and they are built into the case so they don't come out.

My question is will it still be ok to install the motherboard on those possibly non brass top two standoff's? Or should I just buy a new case?

Solution
It will be OK, as long as they look like standoffs. Standoffs only purpose is to make sure the motherboard doesn't touch the case and short itself out.
The brass isn't the issue with standoffs its just to get the back of the board up off the case. Rosewill isn't retarded they wouldn't have made them out of copper or anything. And the area where the board touches the standoffs shouldn't matter if they were copper. It should be fine.

Its fine there not all brass, ive seen alot of steel ones in my 22 years of PC building on OEM machines, just install it and go about your business.
