The best and most effective way to do that is to use the command prompt to run atiflash and do a force flash (-f).

atiflash -f -p 0 biosname.rom
0 indicates the first PCIe slot or first GPU, 1 would indicate a second GPU in a second PCIe slot. So if you had to use his GPU in the main slot, and your GPU in the second slot, change the 0 to a 1. You will need to use CD command to change directory to the location of the atiflash.exe and the bios, easiest to put them both in the same folder/location.
If you have integrated graphics you should be able to do it without another GPU in the PCIe slots.
All of this can be tricky and may have to be done several times in different ways, or at least that was my experience on multiple occasions with bricked GPUs.
