I know this may sound funny and stupid but I would like to know if there is any befit from bridging a on board nic with a PCI nic card using 10/100.
To give more light on my thought is I have a 24port switch for home networking I know it huge for a home but I got it for free so I was happy to get it. Since now days money is hard to could by sometimes so that's all I have.
For a idea I was thinking on installing a PCI nic to bridge to my onboard one by running 2 wires from my switch to my computer. Would that in any way give me better bandwidth or cause lag? My Internet service is Zoom Town basic 20bucks a month package.
At the moment I am just using my onboard NIC for now but was just curious. Thanks in advance.
