Sorry if the title doesn't make the most sense but, I recently bought a new motherboard cpu, ram, and a ssd. I plan on installing windows on this new ssd. I was wondering if I could just plug in my old drive as a second drive(non os drive) in my new pc(I want to keep the data on it). To clarify, my ssd will have windows on it and be the first bootable device.

Solution
yes. install windows to SSD and update windows, then shut down the system and connect the HDD.
you may need to import the drive in disk management if it shows as foreign.
and your done.
