hello,
i recently bought an ASUS DSL-N55U N600 modem/router. other computers in the house are connecting wired Gigabit. but then my gaming rig says its only 100mbps 🙁
i have my PC directly connected via a 1.5m Cat6 cable (yes the same cable works on other machines that run at gigabit speeds).
yes i have tried uninstalling and re-installing drivers'n'stuff.
yes i have turned my pc off and on 😉
yes the light is orange, and not green.
note: i do have Tunngle installed but its disabled so it shouldn't affect anything right?

Solution
I had similar case with my desktop. I had to fiddle with some of the adapter' settings to get connection at all (1Gb card connected to 1Gb switch). Make sure you have latest drivers as well.

i bought a gigabit card (which obviously fixed the problem).
so you can have the free answer :)
